Over the years I have sifted through a lot of technical literature, =
been to=20
many seminars and viewed many online video trainings to gain a better=20
understanding of analog electronics. While there are mountains of =
excellent=20
material out there, I have noticed some general shortcomings.
First, it can be a struggle to find this material. Most engineers =
pull=20
information from many different technical papers, articles, seminars, =
and books.=20
It can take years to gather this material. Also, many articles assume =
knowledge=20
that you may not have, so it can be difficult to teach yourself analog=20
electronics. Furthermore, most literature provides the theory, but does =
not=20
provide practical, measured or simulated examples. Finally, much of the=20
understanding of analog electronics that I have gained over the years =
was taught=20
to me by some really sharp guys. This =E2=80=9Ctribal knowledge=E2=80=9D =
is passed down from=20
engineer to engineer but is hard to find and is nonexistent in technical =
literature.
